Weavr.io raises $4Million in venture capital
Weavr.io, a Maltese fintech company offering a platform that allows businesses to integrate financial services into their products, has successfully raised $4Million in venture capital.
The company was initially supported by the MITA YouStartIT Accelerator Programme and Malta Enterprise, through the Business Development and Continuity Scheme.
Alex Mifsud, co-founder and CEO of Weavr had the following to say about Malta Enterprise: “The support from Malta Enterprise made a huge difference to us, especially during the Covid19 crisis, to give us confidence to continue growing our team and developing the Weavr business to the point where we could secure $4M of venture capital from global fintech investors”
